Day 1, Lima

A View Peru guide will be waiting for your plane to arrive at the Lima airport, with a  private car to escort you to the hotel of your choice and assist with your check in.
This transfer will take approximately 40 minutes from the airport to the city center. Any questions you have will be answered and you will be briefed on your itinerary by your assistant. You have the evening to relax in your hotel to prepare yourself for the exciting tour ahead.
You can then enjoy Peru’s capital city of Lima, also known as the culinary capital of South America, with organized breakfast and lunch (based on your arrival time).

Day 2, Lima to Cusco

After breakfast in Lima, you will be transported by your private assistant and vehicle to the airport to catch your one hour and a half domestic flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco you will be picked up and brought to your hotel in the historic center of the city.
You will spend the rest of your day in this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site, and a number of excursions can be arranged for you, as there is so much that Cusco has to offer.

Day 3, Sacred Valley of the Incas

You will be collected from your hotel in Cusco after enjoying your breakfast to spend a full day in the Sacred Valley. Here you will get a chance to see the magnificent views of the hills and valleys of Peru, and you will be take on a guided tour through Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo. At Pisac Market, you will get to shop through the many stalls, textiles, and local handicrafts. You will then enjoy lunch at one of the many incredible restaurants in the area before heading to Ollantaytambo to experience in breathtaking Inca Fortress filled with history. Here, you will have time to explore the ruins and the sites around it.

Day 4 Rafting the Sacred valley.

If the rafting is not an activity you want to take, we have many other options like Via Ferrata, Skylodge, Mountain Bike or Horse riding tours.

Today is for those with a strong sense of adventure, and who are ready to take on anything! You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and escorted to the Andes de Pachar. Here you will have an orientation to discuss safety, equipment, and what to expect from your excursion. The professionals will then guide you along the incredible Urubamba river, past the Inca Fortress of Ollantaytambo through class II and III rapids. The final part of your rafting experience will be through the El Resbaladero which are class III rapids, waves and whirlpools. Once finished, you will stop for a picnic lunch on the river bank and enjoy your meal after a full day of rafting before a transfer back to your hotel.

DAY 5-7 The Inca Trail.

Today starts your 4-day trek along the path taken by the Incas to
Machu Picchu. You will start with pickup at 4am the first day from your hotel, with a private
transfer to the start of the trail. Over the few days of trekking, your guide will be sure to
inform you about all of the landscapes, nature, and history you pass along the way.

Day 8 Machu Picchu

Upon your arrival in Machu Picchu, your guide will take you on a private tour of the ruins before taking lunch on a nearby terrace. After your lunch, you will have time to explore everything Machu Picchu has to offer on your own before heading down to Aguas Calientes to spend the night in a hotel of your choosing.

Day 9, Machu Picchu to Cusco

This free morning back in Machu Picchu will be your chance to take part in some extra activities, such as Huayna Picchu, Sun Gate, or other excursions in Aguas Calientes town (hot springs, museums) before boarding a late afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo. After arriving, you will have a private car transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
You will then have a free evening in the magnificent city of Cusco, and a number of tours and excursions can be arranged for you at your request. This time is yours, and we would be happy to arrange something extra for you.

Day 10, Cusco – Puno

After a full breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to your bus to Puno. This stunning drive takes you up over the Peruvian Altiplano, a large plain spanning between Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina with an average altitude of 3,750m. You will make several stops along the way to enjoy this journey. Various museums, Inca ruins, and small cultural villages will be stopped at giving you a chance to stretch your legs and experience the rural Altiplano. In addition, you will stop at the highest point of the route at a dizzying altitude of 4319m for great photography opportunities. In Puno, you will be received at the bus terminal and transferred to your hotel for the night.

Optionally, you can take the luxury train to Puno, a private cab or a flight, let us know your desires.

Day 11, Lake Ttiticaca Day Tour

Today you will spend a full day on the sparkling Lake Titicaca. It is the highest navigable lake in the world and the largest in South America. The lake is famous for its distinct culture and man-made floating islands originating from communities seeking refuge from enemy villages on the lake shore. The first stop on your boat tour will be to the floating reed island of Uros. Community members will welcome you and teach you how they built the islands and take you on a ride on one of their reed boats. You will continue to another reed island called Taquile where you will experience the life of the locals as they have been living for centuries, relying on small-scale agriculture and animals for a simple life of sustainable subsistence. A guide will lead you around the island sharing its customs and history and you will enjoy a traditional lunch. From Taquile, you will be brought back to Puno arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Optionally, you can take a homestay experience with a local family on the island.

Day 12, Puno to Lima

After breakfast at your hotel, View Peru will transfer you to the Juliaca airport to catch your return flight to Lima.
